Find Your Tribe

Life Lessons Personal Stacie Townsend

You cannot be all things to all people. And, you cannot please everyone all the time. This is sometimes hard for me to accept, as I want everyone to be happy and I want everyone to be happy with me. I get anxiety when people are upset, especially when they are upset with me.

With that said, I think these issues and insecurities vanish when you find your tribe. In other words, when you find the people that have similar values as you do.

My tribe values family/friends above all else, loves to exercise and compete, is hard working, team-oriented, ambitious, but unselfish, and never takes themselves too seriously. Everything worth doing, is worth doing right, but also worth doing with a smile and while trying to have a laugh.

Fortunately, I found my first two tribe members 31 years ago in my parents, and it has been ever growing because of softball, pickleball, the law, and now here through Thanks for being here, and for allowing me to be in your tribe.
